Chester County Paratransit

Chester County residents are eligible for this service.  May be used for door to door transportation, including medical appointments, grocery shopping and senior center attendance.  There is a minimal fee for those age 65 and over.  Those under 65 pay a zone area rate for service.   For rides, call 601-594-3911 at least 24 hours in advance.   Proof of age required for ID card.  ***

Rainbow Cab

Taxi service available with reduced fares.  This is not available in Chester County unless you are going to the airport.  If you are traveling beyond that area, you must have a senior citizen ID card.  Applications are available in the office at the 
Kennett Area Senior Center.  ***

Vehicle Registration Reduced Rate

Forms are available in the office at the Kennett Area Senior Center.  Applicant must be retired on Social Security or pension; income may not exceed $19,200, and person must be the principal driver.

AARP 55 Alive Driving Classes
