Important News About Rover
Wanda Stonebraker, Director, Chester County Department of Aging met with reps from ROVER and they agreed on some changes that will be helpful to our seniors, our centers and Rover.
Please read the following:
The Aging Dept. will sponsor rides to any senior center within 20 miles of a senior’s residence. This will enable most, if not all, of our previous members to return to our centers.
The Aging Dept. will sponsor rides to any grocery store and pharmacy within 10 miles of a senior’s residence. This distance will enable seniors to shop at the larger stores and pharmacies. The purpose of restricting time of day was to increase efficiencies. No new efficiencies resulted from the restriction of time of day. This restriction has been lifted.
