Vision

Vision for the Future

The Board of Directors and staff envision a future in which…;

  • Adults in our community have access to high-quality, low-cost inter- and multi-generational lifelong learning services; health, fitness and nutrition programs; activities that enhance brain power; recreational and social events; and job skills retraining, regardless of age, income, mobility or other factors.
  • All seniors in our community live in safe and affordable housing and have full access to both public transportation and the Internet.
  • The Kennett Area Senior Center has a vibrant, highly functioning facility and satellite locations, which may include locations owned and/or leased by the KASC, offsite programs on non-KASC owned/leased property through a partnership; throughout the community fronted by revenue-generating cafés open to people of all ages.
  • The Kennett Area Senior Center has strong and active partnerships with civic, nonprofit, and business organizations throughout the region.
